Titan girls open OBA season in Sudbury

The Sault Titans juvenile girls basketball team started their OBA season on a winning note in Sudbury this weekend. The girls lost their first game against the Sudbury Jr. Vees 53-41 but rebounded to take them in their next match 62-50.

The girls lost their first game against the Sudbury Jr. Vees 53-41 but rebounded to take them in their next match 62-50.

Highs scorers in game one were Sarah Didonato with 13 points, Corina Bruni with 11 and Danielle White with 10. In their win against the Vees, Corina Bruni had 19 points and Samantha Hunt 18.

The Titans finished the day with a win over the Bracebridge Breakers 53-38. Samantha Hunt hit for 21 points while Danielle White and Kristine Caldbick added 10 each.
