With Searchmont Resort a go for this winter the Searchmont Ski Runners are making an offer you can't refuse.

The local ski racing club along with Prouse Motors will be hosting the annual Pontiac-GMC "Ski Wax Day" Saturday, November 26th.

The event will take place at Prouse Motors on Great Northern Road from 10:00am until 4:00pm. You can have your skis or snowboard waxed with a nominal donation to the club. All proceeds from the Pontiac-GMC "Ski Wax Day" go toward purchasing equipment for the racers.

A draw will be made at the end of the day for an Atomic prize package valued at $250. The winner also receives a Pontiac-GMC Cup race bib autographed by the Canadian Alpine Ski Team.

The Searchmont Ski Runners is a non-profit organization promoting physical activity and healthy competition in alpine ski racing.
