The Soo Thunderbirds dropped their second game in a row on Friday night with a 5-3 loss to the North Bay Skyhawks.
The game was the first on a three-game road swing that will see the locals make stops in Abitibi on Saturday night and Sudbury on Sunday night.
At 6-4, the Thunderbirds sit sixth in the seven-team Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League but have played between three and six games fewer than the rest of the league.
