The Soo Thunderbirds will spend a warm summer day on the links as the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League club will host their annual golf tournament Friday, Aug. 11 at the Root River Golf Club.
The tournament will include 18 holes of golf, lunch, hole-in-one competitions, on-course contests and prizes along with a barbecue steak dinner. The tournament, beginning at 12:30 p.m. will be a four-person scramble and interested players can register as teams or individuals.
The entry fee is $500 per team or $125 per person.
