Matt never shies away from a bone crunching hit but he also knows his way around the field and the pigskin.

After seeing his favorite football players lead their NFL teams to victory, Matt decided he wanted a piece of the glory.

Tyler Simpson: What got you involved in football? Matt Maidra: I was always watching it on TV and I thought I’d give it a shot.

TS: Who is your favourite football team? MM: The Green Bay Packers.

TS: Who is your sports role model/idol? MM: Brett Farve.

TS: What hobbies do you have other than football? MM: I play the drums. And a lot of video games.

TS: What is your most memorable moment in sports so far? MM: The first time I intercepted a pass.
