Jake has been involved in football for four years and his love for the sport continues to grow. Despite Jake’s size his skill keeps improving and he is a tenacious defender on the field.

Jake is our Super Soo Athlete of the week because of his incredible sportsmanship and pure love for the game.

His coach agrees with our nomination because Jake seems to never shy away from any challenge he might face on the field, including a big hit.

He’ll take it with a smile and keep on trucking.

SooToday reporter Tyler Simpson had a chance to sit down for a brief chat with Jake.

Tyler Simpson: What got you involved in football? Jake Camirand: I had nothing else to do, so I tried it.

TS: Who is your favourite team? JC: The Green Bay Packers.

TS: Who is your sports role model/idol? JC: Brett Farve.

TS: What hobbies do you have other than football? JC: I like to go hunting, fishing, and camping. I play video games and go paint balling too.

TS: What is your most memorable moment in the sport so far? JC: Causing people to fumble.
