Paluzzi never imagined being a football player but now that he got a taste of the intense sport you can’t find him without his shoulder pads and helmet.

A.J.’s vast improvement since the start of the season has drawn a lot of positive attention his way. His can-do attitude and refusal to give up has made him the player that he is today.

A.J.’s desire to surpass expectations in the sport is what makes him this week’s Super Soo Athlete.

SooToday Reporter Tyler Simpson had the chance to sit down for a brief interview with the determined linebacker.

Tyler Simpson: What got you involved in football? A.J. Paluzzi: A friend of my sisters mentioned playing it to me. I tried it out and its been fun.

TS: What is your favourite football team? AP: Pittsburgh Steelers

TS: Who is your favourite sports role model/idol? AP: Ahmed Green from the Packers.

TS: What hobbies do you have either than football? AP: I like to write.

TS: What is your most memorable moment in the sport so far? AP: It was probably the last game of the year because I got four tackles.
