STING STUNG BY HOUNDS AGAIN

The Soo Greyhounds continued their mastery of the Sarnia Sting on Saturday, defeating the visitors 5-1 before 3,002 fans at Memorial Gardens. The Hounds are now 4-0-1 against Sarnia this season.

The Soo Greyhounds continued their mastery of the Sarnia Sting on Saturday, defeating the visitors 5-1 before 3,002 fans at Memorial Gardens. The Hounds are now 4-0-1 against Sarnia this season. The two teams play one another three more times this season, all in Sarnia. Second-year right-winger Jeff Larsh had a three-goal game to lead the Hounds. It was the second hat trick of the season for the Bowmanville, Ont. native. Jeff Carter and Mike Amodeo also scored for the Hounds and goalie Adam Munro made 29 saves. The Hounds, who play Belleville at home tonight, outshot Sarnia 40-29.
