Soo Sports won five straight games at the Valley East Atom Division Tournament in Sudbury on the weekend.
In the finals, Soo Sports played Gore Bay and beat them 4-2 to win the gold. Austin Hall scored two goals and singles went to Domenic Gervase and Shane Zorzit.
In the semi-finals, Soo Sports faced local team Food Basics beating them 5-0. Two goals came from Hall with singles from Nicholas Ziccarelli, Bradley Bertrand and Gervase.
In quarterfinal action, Soo Sports faced another Sudbury team pulling out a 1-0 victory on the lone goal by Hall.
In earlier games, Soo Sports beat Valley East 3-0 and New Liskeard 4-0 with Hall, Gervase and Ziccarelli each scoring a pair with another from Nicholas Foster.
Austin Deluca was solid in net for all 5 games and was rewarded with 4 shutouts.
