The Soo Black Sox journey back into provincial play started in a great way as the local baseball program went 4-0 across 4 division on day 1 of the Ontario Baseball Association provincials.

Results below.

Elks 341 Minor Bantam Black Sox defeat Bolton Braves 9-0
Malcolm McGugan and Colton Fata combined to throw a no-hitter with 7 strikeouts to lead the Sox past the Braves. 
Lucas Malcolm had a 3-run triple to break the game open in the home half of the 3rd inning. 
Carter Gallivan and McGugan added 2 singles each.
Next action for the Bantams is 11:00 am vs La Salle

Ontario Concrete Finishing Pee Wee Black Sox beat Woodstock  34-0
Offense early allowed the Pee Wee's to race out to an easy Game 1 victory. 
Next action for the Pee Wee's is 11:00 am Saturday morning.

Mosquito Black Sox beat Oshawa  12-1.
The locals managed to put the mercy on Oshawa after 4 innings.
Next action for the Mosquito's is 11:00 vs. Leaside

Little Caesars Rookie Black Sox defeat Milton  18-3
The Sox used a strong offense and timely defense as they cruised past Milton 18-3

Black Sox played Delaware at 11 a.m. Saturday.
