Skate with Sault College's women's hockey national champs on Monday

The Sault College women's hockey team brought back another National Championship to Sault College and Sault Ste. Marie this season.

To celebrate the achievement, the college is inviting the community to a "Skate with the Champions" free event.

The skate takes place on Monday, April 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Northern Community Centre.

In addition to some fun on the ice with these talented athletes, guests will have the opportunity to take photos with the team and the ACHA National Championship trophy, Sault College said in a news release.

Guests can also look forward to interacting with the Sault College Cougars players, getting autographs, and celebrating the hard work and dedication of the team.

"Whether you're a seasoned skater or a beginner, join us on the ice for a memorable evening celebrating the sport of hockey and the outstanding accomplishments of the Sault College women's hockey team," the college said.

Attendance to the Skate with the Champions is free of charge, and the college said the community is encouraged to "join in the celebration".
