The Hounds are now a perfect two-for-two on a three-game road swing that concludes Sunday in Brampton at 2 p.m. The game can be seen locally on Shaw Cable 10.

Dustin Jeffrey looks to be back on track offensively for the Hounds with his second consecutive strong game, scoring once and setting up three others.

Local product Matt Caria returned to the lineup after a five-game suspension and made an immediate impact, scoring once and assisting on two others.

Andrew Campbell scored once and set up another to round out the Hounds scoring.

Shawn Szydlowski scored the lone goal for the Otters.

Stephane Cesar made his first start in goal for the Hounds and stopped 27 of 28 shots for the win. Jaroslav Janus faced 40 shots for Erie in the loss.

The result was diappointing to Erie, who beat the Windsor Spitfires 9-5 on Friday.

The Greyhounds, 7-1-0-2 in their last 10 games, move seven points up on Windsor in the race for first place in the Ontario Hockey League's west division. The Hounds remain 13 points back of the red hot Kitchener Rangers for top spot in the western conference.
