Shamrock figure skaters attend first competition

On October 20-21, the Shamrock Figure Skating Club attended the Skokie Skate in Huntsville, Ontario.

This was the Shamrocks first competition of the season. Seven athletes attended and performed exceptionally well. In Test Stream Pre Preliminaries, Cameron Smith received a silver medal for her solo and elements performances. She also received a bronze in spins.

Blair Headrick received a gold in her solo, silver in elements and fourth in spins. Shalee Calvert received fifth in her solo, sixth in elements and seventh in spins. Heather Janser received ninth in her solo, sixth in elements and seventh in spins.

In Test Stream Preliminaries, Holly Janser received fifth in her solo, fourth in elements and sixth in spins. Samantha Heggart received a gold in her solo, silver in element and bronze in spins.

In Test Stream Senior Silver, Kassidy Bailey placed third in her solo.
