Season highs for Sault Gymnastics Club in Ann Arbor

This past weekend in Ann Arbor, Michigan, three Sault Ste. Marie Gymnastic Club athletes competed in the 2008 Wolverine Classic.

In the Level 7, Junior B Division, Ashleigh Harrison received a medal on the Floor Exercise and finished with an all-around score of 35.075.

Also in level 7, but in the Senior A Division, Chantal Gibb received a medal on the Balance Beam and completed the competition with an all-around score of 35.225.

The last gymnast to compete, Maria Proulx, in Level 8, Senior A Division received a medal on both the Vault and the Floor Exercise and finished 5th overall with an all-around score of 34.350.

These all-around scores are personal bests for each gymnast.

The girls next competition is in the Sault on Sunday, March 30th at 10am at the John Rhodes Arena.

This will be the First of Two USAIGC Qualifiers that the girls will be attending in order to qualify to the National Championships in June in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
