Lop Lops jumped out to an early 15-0 lead but could not hold on as JMC Builders remained undefeated with a 28-15 victory on Sunday in Sault Minor Football Association myte division action.

David Toppan was at it again with two touchdowns for the winners. Mark Bruni and Raiden Oliver also chipped in with touchdowns for JMC. Matthew Mitchell and Braedan Turco scored for Lop Lops in a losing effort.

In the other game, Rezolution scored 22 unanswered second half points to defeat MemberCARE 36-14. Joshua Miskiw scored three touchdowns to lead Rezolution. Thomas Pratt and Mario Taranto also had touchdowns for the winners. Justin Elwgren and Rico Pucci scored for MemberCARE.

In the tyke division, Mario Bruni passed for a touchdown and ran for another as SportsGold remained undefeated with a 45-0 victory over GP Flakeboard. Brock Hoover was on the receiving end of a Bruni pass and also ran two in. Kaitlyn Cameron also scored a touchdown for SportsGold. Paul Orlando went four for four on the extra point before going out with an injury late in the game.

Romes picked up their first victory of the season in convincing fashion defeated Tin Grins 53-12. Romes quarterback Marc Cuglietta scored three touchdowns and threw for two others to lead the way.

Jared Rimmer scored twice with singles going to Rhys Mahler on a interception return and Carter Lukenda who was on the receiving end of a Cuglietta pass. Marcus Dias and Greg Gagnon scored for Tin Grins in a losing effort.

In the bantam division, Scholars improved their record to 2-2 with a 24-0 blanking of a depleted Firefighters lineup. Bryan Greco threw a touchdown pass to Travis Ames and ran for another to lead the way. Also contributing was Brendan Coccimiglio and Jared Theriault with a touchdown each.

Aurora's Westside suffered their first loss of the season falling 31-18 to Brody's. Todd Wagner led the way passing for a touchdown to Denny Boyko and also running one in himself. Justin Sauerzopf scored twice for the winners. David Quesnele scored three touchdowns on a losing effort for Aurora's.
