Builders. J.M.C's Tyler Smith scored his teams lone score on a nice touchdown run. Crusher's Cameron Elgie was the Scholars's player of the game.

TYKE DIVISION 11-12

In the first Tyke Division tilt, a couple of two point kicking converts was the difference as Sal Dan defeated Rome's 22-18. Sal Dan's Cade Nolan, David Toppan and Andrew Nelson each had touchdown runs for their team. Rome's repied with touchdown runs from backfield teammates Mathieu Ouellet, Ray Duplin and Matt Mitchell. Sal Dan's Nicholas Gaccione was selected as the Scholars' Player of the game.

Sports Gold's defense proved to be stingy once again as they shut out Joey Calzone's 20-0. Matt Pinder scored the only touchdown in the first half and his two point kicking convert was good as Sports Gold took an 8-0 lead into half-time. Pinder's teammates Peter Greve and Shaun Hebert found the end zone in the second half to round out the scoring. Calzone's Nicholas Giulietti was selected as the Scholars' player of the game.

BANTAM DIVISION 13-14

The Bantam division games started with a bang as Adelchi Fenos kicked the first game winning field goal in Sault Minor Football history as time expired to give Stitch King an exciting 25-22 victory over Brody's. Both teams battled hard to the end making great offensive and defensive plays. Feno's led his team offensively as well with a touchdown pass to running back Brock Hoover and scoring on a long touchdown run of his own. Teammate Dylan Hebert completed the scoring with a touchdown run in the second half. Brody's was led by running back Michael Nelson who scored on a long pass from Quarterback Brandon Corelli and ran for a 50 yard touchdown run. Corelli also found wide receiver Christian Gassi for a touchdown pass to complete his teams scoring. Rome's Rhys Mahler and Stitch King's Michael Meraglia had strong games defensively for their teams as each player stopped the other teams ball carrier behind the line of scrimmage on numerous occasions. Fenos's field goal kicking heroics earned him the Scholars' player of the game.

In the second Bantam division game, Firefighter's running back Trevor Plumley scored his second of two touchdowns late in the second half and his defense hung on late with a fourth down stop as Firefighters defeated Filtrec 20-13. Tanner Evans completed the scoring for Firefighters by reaching the end zone on a touchdown run. Filtrec's quarterback Josh Hicks and running back Matthew Fitton each found the end zone on nice touchdown runs. Plumley's effort's earned him the Scholars' player of the game.
