Sault Female Hockey results for week ending Oct. 14 The pee wee division began regular season play on Thursday, Oct. 11 with Stitch King downing Purvis Marine by a 7-2 score. Leading the way for Stitch King were Paige Trecroce, with 2 goals and 2 assists, and Briley Gregory with 2 goals and one assist.

Jayna Bondy and Rylee Fox each chipped in with a goal and assist and the other marker went to Daniella Pastore. Juliana Lesage-Corbiere had two assists on the night with singles going to Alexandra Berlingieri, Erica Stefano and Arizona Commanda-Boissoneau. For Purvis Marine, Allysha Solomon-Macdonald had two goals and Erika Mihell one assist.

Saturday, Meyers Munchies had a strong offensive afternoon in defeating Headlines 8-0. Heather Pine lead the way for Meyers with 4 goals and 1 assist. Larissa Carlucci had 2 goals, 2 assists, Sierra Souliere had a goal and two helpers and Emily Hodgson rounded out the scoring. Alicia Simbirski chipped in with 2 assists and single helpers went to Kaitlin Lambert-Mousseau, Jenna Carlucci and Brooke Roach-Neville. Tori Jo Hanson had the shut-out.

In bantam play Tuesday, Jennifer Elliott supplied the offense, with two goals and two assists, as Soo Sports Excellence downed Christie Camper Sales 4-1.

Christie's got on the board first with a goal by Taylor Hayes, with assists going to Olivia Pastore and Karissa Barbarie. Three minutes later Elliott scored her two goals, fifteen seconds apart, the first one being unassisted and the second with assists going to Casandra Tessaro and Katie Wardlaw.

Midway through the third period, Ciarra Pilon scored a shorthanded goal with assists going to Elliott and Reilly Evoy. Kristen Henderson rounded out the scoring with a goal in the last minute of play.

Thursday, Riuniti Banquet Hall rode the two goal performance of Stephanie D'Ettore to defeat Christie's 5-2. Also scoring for Riuniti were Kayla Studens, who also had one assist, Kyra DiMicoli and Lindsay Aceti with an empty netter in the last minute of play. Amy Jones had two assists on the night and singles went to Morgan Salewski and Shelby Sayers-Jones.

For Christie's, Laura Orlando scored with an assist from Kailey Turco and Karissa Barbarie rounded out the Christie scoring with help from Olivia Pastore.

On Saturday, an exciting see-saw battle was played between Station Mall and Soo Sports Excellence, with the teams playing to a 1-1 draw. Goaltenders Brittney Petersen for Station Mall and Alicia Willoughby for Soo Sports were outstanding in their nets in keeping the game tied.

Amanda Robb scored for Station Mall, with Evelyn Steele picking up the assist. Jennifer Elliott had the Soo Sports goal with assists going to Kate Wardlaw and Lynnea Loubert.

Intermediate play on Tuesday had Duke Of Windsor and McDougall Fuels play to a 3-3 tie. Ashley Bradley and Sara Amato took care of the scoring for McDougall with Bradley scoring twice and adding one assist, Amato had a goal and two assists. Krista McClelland also had one assist.

For Duke, Hanna Welton had two goals, her second coming with less than a minute to play in the third to tie the game, the other marker went to Robin Koskela, who also had one assist on the night. Single assists went to Tara Desanti, Jenna Lever, Emily Wright and Stephanie Amadio.

Thursday, Tasha McClelland had the shut-out as Best Western got by McDougall Fuels 2-0. Amanda Trudeau had an unassisted goal in the first period while Kate Litalien picked up the insurance marker in the third, with assists from Trudeau and Breanna Buchan, to take care of the Best Western scoring.
