The Sault College Cougars fell both on the basketball and volleyball courts on Friday night at home.

In the men's basketball contest, Rick Lister dropped 19 points and Aaron Richards added 14 but it wasn't enough as the Fanshawe Falcons walked away with a 96-58 win.

The Cougars, who fall to 0-7 in the Ontario College Athletic Association (OCAA), are back in action next weekend at a tournament in Alpena, Michigan. Next OCAA action for Sault College isn't until the new year.

On the women's volleyball side, Fanshawe swept the Cougars by game scores of 25-5, 25-14 and 25-17. Kelly Roussell led Sault College with three points.

The lady Cougars, who fall to 0-8 on the season, are off from league play until the middle of January.
