*** COUGAR PROFILE OF THE WEEK:

Sarah Miller

This week's Cougar Profile belongs to Sarah Miller, on the ladies volleyball team.

She is dedicated team player and hard working individual who has three years experience in the OCAA as a member of the Algoma University women's basketball team.

In her first year of the Police Foundation program at Sault College, Sarah a multi-talented athlete who is showing her skills as a volleyball player for the Cougars.

She is very athletic and a well around volleyball player, having such assets as quick speed, consistent serves and solid passing.

In addition to her athletic talents she has a positive team attitude, is high-spirited and is a well-liked individual by her teammates. Miller showed her athletic abilities in high school where, she won the MVP and Coach's Award at St Mary's.

"She is one of the most aggressive players on the team and does whatever is asked of her," adds head coach Jeremy Murdoch. "She works hard all of the time. I get 100% effort in every practice and every game."

You can see Sarah Miller and her teammates battle it out when they host Mohawk College for a game this Sunday November 27, at 12 noon.

*** VOLLEYBALL STARTS HOMESTAND THIS WEEKEND; BASKETBALL DROPS OUT OF ONTARIO TOP 5 RANKINGS:

The Women Volleyball team will be playing this Sunday, November 27, at 12 noon versus the Mohawk Mountaineers (Hamilton) and are hoping this home game will help to improve on their 1-5 record.

The Lady Cougars will have two more home games versus Nipissing (North Bay) and Niagara (Welland) to try and add to the win column before the Christmas break.

The Sault College Men's Basketball team will be traveling to Georgian (Barrie) and Seneca (North York) for a pair of exhibition games this weekend.

The Cougars have dropped out of Ontario's Top 5 rankings after a disappointing three point loss to Niagara over the weekend.

These games will be important for the club as they try to establish their positioning among the OCAA's top teams.
