The 3rd Annual P. Schatz Golf Classic took place last Saturday at the Root River Golf Course. Over twenty golfers participated in the classic this year and organizer Chris Lepore called it "the best P. Schatz yet!"
Clayton Breault took home the coveted "P. Schatz Cream Jacket" (not to be confused with the Green Jacket) firing home a sizzling 42 through nine holes. Sean Madill won the Guilia O'Shananah award –which is for the most stylish golfer. Jesper had nothing on that cool cat!
Mike Magli made an unbelievable shot on number 7 to claim the closest to the pin, "Primo Coolo Cavallo" award and Jeff Greco unleashed a 300 yard monster drive on the Root's signature hole---number 9 to win the longest drive championship.
Other notable winners include: Mario Disano took home the "Lady Badda Bing" Award for most gentlemanly golfer', Georgios Maninos claimed the "Deep Woodz Off" award for furthest drive off the fairway and Franco Lepore claimed the "Richard Doo" Award for his six inch drive on the ever intimidating Number One.
