Premiere Division soccer update

Bavarian Inn needed goals from T.J. Boateng and Nana Oginkeyie to defeat the Soo Civics Under-17s 2-1 in Sault Amatuer Soccer Association Premiere Division play on Wednesday.

Justin Montanini replied with the lone goal for the Civics.

Bavarian Inn will look to carry their winning momentum into a big early season game on Sunday against Croatia. Second place Bavarian Inn currently sits 11 points behind the league leaders.

In other games in SASA, Andrew Gray, Phil Ruicci and Karl Trost scored a goal each as Croatia defeated Soo Italia 3-0 on Monday.

Last Sunday, the Portuguese battled Personal Touch Auto to a 2-2 draw in Second Division play. Claudio Gioia scored twice for Personal Touch Auto while Carlos Raen and Deno Gynafi replied for Portuguese.
