The high school volleyball regular season wrapped up on Thursday night.
In senior action on Thursday night, Superior Heights beat St. Mary’s in two sets – 25-22, 25-18.
Thursday’s other senior game saw Korah defeated White Pines, also in two sets – 25-14, 25-20.
Korah wrapped up regular season action with a 10-2 record and in top spot in the league standings.
In Thursday’s junior action, Superior Heights beat St. Mary’s in three sets – 25-19, 23-25, 15-7.
Korah beat Whites Pines in Thursday’s other junior in three sets – 22-25, 27-25, 15-9.
By way of an 11-1 record, Superior Heights took top spot in the junior standings.
The City Final Four is set for Feb. 14 at White Pines, beginning at 9 a.m.
Meanwhile, the high school hockey playoffs open on Monday at the John Rhodes Community Centre as St. Mary’s takes on Superior Heights in game one of their best-of-3 semifinal series.
Puck drop for the opener is set for 3:30 p.m.
The other semifinal will open on Tuesday and will have Korah taking on CASS in a 3:30 start at the McMeeken.
The city final is scheduled to open on Feb. 20 between the two semifinal winners.
In the regular season, the final standings saw St. Mary’s finish in top spot.
Korah finished in second with CASS taking third and Superior Heights finishing fourth.
