The Blue Pitbulls Boys U-14 soccer team completed a dream season by capturing the Sault Youth Soccer League’s playoff championship and the final piece of the triple crown puzzle.
The final game in the playoffs was won by the Pitbulls over Healthgear by a score of 3-0 with Brett Thompson, Colin Elder and Christian Mahler scoring goals. The shutout was posted by Jordan Vernelli.
Capturing the triple crown came after the team won the league’s regular season, mid season and playoff championships.
