In London, Jordan Morrison scored two goals, including the game-winner with 30 seconds left in the game to lift the Peterborough Petes to a 3-2 win over the Knights in Game 3 of the Ontario Hockey Leaugue Championship Series on Tuesday.

Peterborough leads the series 3-0 and will host Game 4 on Thursday.

David Halasz opened the scoring with one minute to go in the opening period. Daniel Ryder tied the game with a shorthanded effort midway through the second period and Morrison scored a powerplay goal at 16:29 of the second to give the Petes a one-goal lead. Andrew Wilkins scored his first of the playoffs to tie the game once again with five minutes left in the third period.

"This was a huge win for us," said Morrison, who has six playoff goals. "The whole year we've had three solid lines that can go at any time. I think that's a big reason for our success."

David Shantz made 36 saves for the win and was named second star of the game. Adam Dennis returned to the Knights net after missing Game 2 and made 34 saves in a losing effort.

"I was pleased with the way the team responded," Petes coach Dick Todd said. "It was a real battle and a real struggle. There were chances at both ends. Our goaltender came up big for us in the second period in particular. I think he was a huge influence in the outcome of the game.

"I expect nothing but the tougest of games on Thursday night," said Todd, noting that each game in the series so far has been decided by one goal.

"We've got to keep working hard," Wilkins said. "We have a lot of character in our room and we're not going to give up. We're working hard and they're working hard. They just got the bounces tonight. Either team could be winning."
