Brett Perlini emerged as the Soo Thunderbirds' hero again on Friday night in North Bay.

Continuing to hold the hot hand, Perlini fired three goals past the North Bay Skyhawks including the tying and game winning goal as the Soo rallied for a 4-3 Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League victory.

Perlini's three goal performance follows a four goal effort on Wednesday that wasn't quite enough in a 7-6 loss to the Blind River Beavers at the John Rhodes Community Centre on Wednesday night.

The Thunderbirds continue their three-game road trip on Saturday night in Abitibi and Sunday afternoon in Sudbury.
