Pee Wee B National Supply/Mara-Tech Aviation Services Wildcats won a nail biter in the London Devilettes 16th Annual Hockey Tournament in the Peewee BB Diviision against the Uxbridge Bruins.

Up until five minutes remaining in the third period many thought the game resembled a 1-0 loss suffered earlier in the year to the same Bruins in the semi-final of the Whitby Tournament.

Fans were preparing themselves for overtime before Wildcat's left winger Britney Syms opened the scoring with less than 5 minutes to play when she sprung loose on a breakaway and lifted a high wrist shot to the blocker side of the Bruins netminder.

Jessica Fabbro made it 2-0 moments later while enjoying the man-advantage with a shot from the blueline after receiving a feed from her partner Riley Jo Linklater. Jessica Grisdale completed the scoring making it a 3-0 final. Shelby Sayers-Jones assisted on both the Jessicas' goals.

Amanda Alexander with her third shut out of the tournamnent once again played a solid game in net for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats played solid all weekend long outscoring their opponents 17-2 in the tournament while winning 5 straight games. Their tournament record improved to 17 wins 1 loss: Three Gold Medals and a Bronze to accompany 15 shut outs along the way.

Needless to say, strong defence by all 16 individuals and timely scoring was the key to their success.
