North Stars to battle for gold

The North Stars advanced to the championship game with a 3-2 win over the London Jr. Knights on Saturday afternoon in the semi-finals.

The North Stars will now face the undefeated Don Mills Flyers, who defeated the Gloucester Rangers 3-1 in the other semi-final, for gold on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Matt Conway and Tyler Gendron scored once and set up another each in the win while Jake McClelland scored the other.

Meanwhile, London will face Gloucester for the bronze medal.

The eventual gold medalist will advance to the national championships.
