The Soo North Stars and North Bay Trappers combined for 100 minutes in penalties on Saturday night.

Scoring four times with the man advantage, the North Stars rang up a 7-1 win in Great North Midget League action at the John Rhodes Community Centre to remain unbeaten in three outings.

The same teams will lock horns again on Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Rhodes.

Brett Thompson scored four goals for the North Stars and assisted on another while Anthony Colizza and Micky Sartoretto added a goal and an assist each. Drew MacMillan also scored while Chris Hales, Luke O'Brien, Kevin Closs and Alex Cruise assisted on two goals each.

Tyler Hummel replied with the lone goal for the Trappers.
