North Stars season ends in game four

The Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves defeated the Soo North Stars Sunday afternoon by a score of 7-5 to win the Great North Midget League Championship at the John Rhodes Community Centre.

Sudbury won the best-of-series 3-1.

Scoring for the North Stars were:

1. David Quesnele from Nicholas Romano and Christopher Buonomo at 12:28 of the first period on the power play. 2. Tyler Evoy from Bronson Kovacs and Alex Cruise at 15:41 of the second period on the power play. 3. Zac LaRue from Luke O'Brien at 13:31 of the third period. 4. Luke O'Brien from Nicholas Romano and Zac Larue at 6:23 of the third period. 5. Bronson Kovacs from Zac LaRue at 1:38 of the third period on the power play. Justin Hogsden was in goal for the North Stars.
