NORTH STARS NIP KAP

David Turco scored at 3:58 of overtime to give the Soo North Stars a frantic 4-3 win over the Kapuskasing Flyers in game one of their opening round Great North Midget Hockey League playoff series Saturday night at Memorial Gardens. Game two is tonight at 7:00 at John Rhodes Community Centre. Turco's OT winner was his second power play goal of the game. He also assisted on one North Star goal. Andrew Harrison and Cory Sewell also scored for the Soo and Adam Combs had a pair of assists in support of goalie Michael Maulucci.
