North Stars knock off Cubs

The North Stars defeated the New Liskeard Cubs this afternoon in New Liskeard by a score of 7-1.

Scoring for the North Stars were:

1. Michael Schug from Bronson Kovacs and Tyler Evoy at 10:30 of the first period. 2. Zac LaRue from Josh Cerasuolo and Luke O'Brien at 17:38 of the second period. 3. Gregory Sartoretto from Luke O'Brien and Josh Cerasuolo at 15:53 of the second period. 4. Tyler Evoy from Nicholas Romano and Dylan Connolly at 8:21 of the second period on the power play. 5. Bo Boissoneau (affiliate player) from Corey Jackson and Kurtis Travaglini at 7:43 of the second period. 6. Tyler Evoy from Nicholas Romano at 5:09 of the second period. 7. Zac LaRue from Gregory Sartoretto and Kuke O'Brien at 3:07 of the second period. Next action for the North Stars is at home on Saturday at 2 p.m. verses the Nickel City Sons. On Sunday, the Stars host the first place Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves for their first of three visits at 2 p.m. Both games are at the John Rhodes Arena.
