North Stars complete sweep of North Bay

The Soo North Stars capped off the second of two games this weekend against the North Bay Trappers today in North Bay by a score of 4-0.

Scoring for the North Stars were:

1. Kurtis Travaglini from Luke O'Brien and Christopher Buonomo at 15:18 of the first period. 2. Tyler Evoy from Michael Schug at 12:07 of the first period. 3. David Quesnele from Josh Cerasuolo and Tyler Evoy at 4:16 of the first period. 4. David Quesnele from Nicholas Romano and Corey Jackson at 12:56 of the second period. Remo Febbraro was in net for the shut-out. Next action is this upcoming weekend when the North Stars compete in the Steel City Tournament.

The Stars Steel City Schedule is as follows:

Thursday, January 3 at 12:00pm on Rhodes #1 verses the North York Rangers. Friday, January 4 at 11:30am on Rhodes #2 verses the Hearst Elans. Saturday, January 5 at 11:30am on Rhodes #2 verses the Dearborn Young Guns. Saturday, January 5 at 8:30pm on Rhodes #1 verses the Mississauga Rebels.
