Mosquito Black Sox open with two wins in Chatham

In game one Owen Headrick drew a bases loaded walk to score Ronnie Sayers for a 7-6 victory over Southwest London. Coty Anderson who had 7 strikeouts over the final 3 innings and also added to the offence with three hits.

Cody Yardanoff pitched the first 3 innings giving up 1 run while striking out six. Headrick had 2 hits, 2 walks and scored 2 runs.

Game two saw Travis Quevillon and Aaron Savage combine to throw for a 18-1 win over Bolton. Anderson’s bat stayed out with 2 triples a double and a single. Adding to the offence was Matt Goodall and Jarret Miller with 3 hits each. Erik Paradis contributed with two runs scored.

The Sports Gold Mosquito Black Sox have two games remaining in the round robin. First up is South London before facing a very tough host team, Chatham.
