More gold for Searchmont Ski Runners

The Searchmont Ski Runners came through with some more golden performances in a race in Sudbury. In the Dual Slalom event on Friday, K2 racer Meaghan Horbatuk won the gold medal for the girls and Iain Hutchison came in fourth place for the boys.

The Searchmont Ski Runners came through with some more golden performances in a race in Sudbury.

In the Dual Slalom event on Friday, K2 racer Meaghan Horbatuk won the gold medal for the girls and Iain Hutchison came in fourth place for the boys.

On Saturday in the Slalom event, there were many medals for the team. For the K1 girls, Kaili Labelle won the gold medal and Kathryn Willet won the bronze medal. The K2 girls resulted in a gold medal for Meaghan Horbatuk and a silver medal for Nicole Foster.

In K1 boys, Graham Pavelich won a bronze medal.

With another successful weekend for the team, the Searchomnt Ski Runners are hosting a race starting February 14 and are looking for a few more medals and personal bests.
