Soo Thunderbirds defenseman Matt Conway is slated to play in the Canadian Junior A Hockey League prospect game in Vernon B.C. on Wednesday.

The CJAHL Prospects Game will feature the highest level players aged 19 and under, in a showcase of the best talent the Canadian Junior A Hockey League has to offer. All 10 Junior A Leagues across Canada will be represented.

Several stars in the NHL have played in the Canadian Junior A Hockey League including the likes of Brendan Morrison, Steve Yzerman, Paul Kariya, Brett Hull, Glenn Anderson, Scott Gomez and Doug Lidster.

Aside from the game itself, players will participate in a skills competion on Tuesday night and enjoy a celebrity luncheon on Wednesday afternoon.

The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League is a member of the CJAHL.
