Lock City Open postponed until Bon Soo

The Lock City Open Speed Skating Meet that was scheduled for this past weekend has been postponed until February 2-3 because of poor ice conditions at the Art Jennings Outdoor Speed Skating Oval.

The Lock City Open Speed Skating Meet that was scheduled for this past weekend has been postponed until February 2-3 because of poor ice conditions at the Art Jennings Outdoor Speed Skating Oval. This is a Mass Start and Olympic Style Competition to be held as a Bon Soo Event at the Oval.

The races are qualifiers for Ontario skaters to the Canadian and North American Championships as a member of the Ontario Team.

Admission is free to the event sponsored by the Sault Ste. Marie Speed Skating Club. All are invited to be a spectator as the viewing stands are open and the snow has been cleared.
