Lake Superior Figure Skater Lilia-Anne Pelletier Medals at the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships!    

Lake Superior Figure Skating Club skater Lilia-Anne Pelletier had one of her best skates at the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships held in Mississauga this past weekend.  Lilia captured a Bronze medal in the Bronze Triathlon Event. 

Kerry Bain, Director of Skating for the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club was very pleased with the weekend’s results. “It was a great learning experience for our skaters, including some who were competing at Provincials for the first time.  Our skaters scored a personal best leaving this competition satisfied with their performances."

  • Emily Coutu Star 5 U13 30th, 13.37pts
  • Emma Carlucci Star 6 14th, 22.21pts
  • Hannah Martin Star 6 17th, 21.48pts
  • Delaney Schumacher Bronze Triathlon 4th 87.85pts & Star 8 16th, 23.89pts
  • Cassie Grenier Pre Juvenile U13 27th, 18.66pts 
  • Yvonne Barnes Pre Juvenile U13 7th, 25.88pts 
  • Emilie Vezina Pre Novice 18th, 43.14pts

The LSFSC coaching team and board of directors would like to congratulate the eight skaters who competed this past weekend at the 2019 Skate Ontario Provincial Championship in Mississauga. They all represented the Lake Superior FSC and Sault Ste. Marie with pride. Our skaters had a tremendous season and worked very hard to qualify for provincials and we are extremely proud of their results.
