Local figure skater golden in Ottawa

Dr. Jonathan Keuhl captured gold over the weekend in the 2022 ISU International Adult Figure Skating competition in Ottawa.

The event is a qualifier for the 2023 Adult Figure Skating Championship.

The Ottawa-based event over the weekend included nearly 200 skaters from all over the world and a pair of Olympic medalists - Elizabeth Manley (1988 silver medalist) and Donald Jackson (1960 bronze medalist) - were at the event as ambassadors.

Keuhl spent the summer working on his programs, which includes silver men's free skate II and silver men's artistic and won a pair of gold medals in Ottawa as a result.
