Sault Ste. Marie, MI - Lake Superior State University business instructor Mindy Poliski got a surprise from her accounting information students, when they arranged for members of LSSU’s hockey team to drop by with an autographed goalie stick.

It was their way of saying thanks for her dedication to teaching, as well as volunteering to advise a Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) project that offers low-income families help with preparing tax returns.

Poliski accepts her hockey stick from, left to right, Lakers Nick Sellers, Jeff Jakaitis, Josh Sim, Troy Schwab, and Barnabas Birkeland.
