Lake Superior Figure Skating Club hosts public performance to build skills

LAKE SUPERIOR FIGURE SKATING CLUB

The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club (LSFSC) is excited to announce that we will be hosting our first annual Performance Day for Star 1-Gold skaters!

This Performance Day will take place Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the GFL Memorial Gardens from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This is a new format is sanctioned by Skate Ontario to help encourage skaters with their long-term athlete development. The format will be similar to a competition, skaters will perform Free Skate, Short and Interpretive programs, elements in isolation as well as spins, footwork and field moves.

Skaters will not be judged, but will be evaluated by a team of assessors who will provide skaters with feedback.

The LSFSC coaches and board of directors promises that this will be a great day of figure skating! LSFSC invites the community to come out and support our local, talented skaters!
