With the rain, the opening race of the Laird International Raceway season was postponed once again.

LIR sent out the following message earlier today:

Due to impending rain in the weather forecast, we have cancelled racing for Thursday June 7th, and have rescheduled our season opener to Sunday June 10th. The gates will open at 1 pm, racing is set to begin at 4 pm.

We will have some kiddie stock car rides, and a number of other activities.

For this race, kids 11 and under will be admitted free.
