Laird set to race tonight and possibly Saturday

With a hot and sunny day forecasted for the Sault and area on Thursday, Laird International Raceway is gearing up for their second night of racing. Time trials begin at 6 p.m. with racing to follow at 7 p.m.

With the postponing of the season's opening two race dates, LIR officials are considering running the final make up date on Saturday at 3 p.m. An official decision will be released on Friday.

Laird Raceway is located east of Echo Bay off Highway 17 on Lake George Road West on the Laird Fairgrounds.
