It was an entertaining night for fans at Laird International Raceway, despite having the Late Model feature race postponed until next week.

The Stock Four Division saw the biggest payout ever handed out to Cody McLean, who won the 35 lap feature race, narrowly beating out John Gardener while Tyler Parsons took third spot in the race.

The feature was broken into two parts with a ten minute break after lap 18 and the field restarting in the order they finished lap 18 for the final 17 laps. Gardener topped Parsons and McLean in the first heat before Jeff Tomas won the second heat over Jason Herrington. Herrington was leading the way in the feature after 18 laps but was black-flagged after he bettered his qualifying time by more than one full second. Rules only allow for a bettering of a quarter-second.

In the Modified Division, Dennis Uhlman won his first feature race by holding off a charging Jordan Sims. Due to time constraints, the feature was cut by five laps to 15 and saw Jerry Artuso crash into the sand and tires heading into turn three.

Artuso was not injured in the crash. Larry Ebare finished third in the feature. Sims won both of the heat races Corey Furkey and Uhlman finished second and third in heat one while Artuso and Ebare took second and third in heat two.

In the Factory Stock Division, John Hamilton and Steve Kent had strong nights. Hamilton won the feature and earned a pair of second place finished in the heat races. Kent finished second in the feature and earned a first place finish in heat one and a third place finish in heat two. Dick Wellwood won the second heat race.

The Late Model Division, the feature race was not run due to time constraints. Michael Gold won both heat races, edging out Artuso and Rick Leonard in heat one and Kevin Jackson and Rod Bolduc in heat two.

Next week will see the Late Model feature from this week ran instead of the four car dash. The feature will be ran at the top of the race program using Thursday night's qualifying times. Next Thursday is also the mid-season championship where the top three finishers in each feature race will receive trophies for their efforts.
