The St. Mary's Knights will be back to defend their High School Football League city championship.

On Friday night at Rocky DiPietro Field, the Knights downed the Bawating Braves 37-13 in the second senior division semi-final game.

St. Mary's will now face the White Pines Wolverines, who upended the Sir James Dunn Eagles 43-0 in their semi-final, in the city championship on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Rocky DiPietro Field.

For the Knights, Mike Esson caught a 60 yard touchdown pass and ran in another from two yards out while Jeff Greco scored touchdowns on runs of one and 15 yards. Mark Devuono added another score on an eight yard reception.

Nathan Edwards, on a three yard reception, and Mike Storozuk scored majors for the Braves.
