Former World Wrestling Federation, now called World Wrestling Entertainment, wrestler King Kong Bundy was in Sault Ste. Marie on Saturday night in a sanctioned Canadian Independent Wrestling Alliance event.

The event, which was held in front of a sizable crowd at the centre, gave the fans in attendance an opportunity to see some up-and-coming wrestlers. Fans also got a chance to interact with the wrestlers during the intermission and have their pictures taken with Bundy, as well as other wrestlers and get autographs.

Along with Bundy, who is known for his match at Wrestlemania with Hulk Hogan as well as having the a shortest match in Wrestlemania history at Wrestlemania I, numerous other wrestlers from across North America were involved in the event, as well as some local wrestling talent.

The CIWA features a few wrestlers who have made appearances of late in the WWE at various times. Those include the likes of Ruffy Silverstein, and Cody 'The Carny' Deener among others.

Those in attendance found themselves involved in the action in nearly every match and were treated to a night of entertainment that looked to be enjoyed by most.

Fans were given an opportunity to see some young talent in the wrestling world, as well as the veteran talents of Bundy who was the night's main attraction, and were much appreciative of the efforts to put the show on.
