Jordan Sims to Run the ASA Speed Truck Challenge Series, New Midwest Division for 2007

Barry Sims owner of Jordan Sims Racing announced today they have signed with Performance Management & Marketing (PM&M) to represent Jordan Sims and team in the quest to NASCAR touring competition, with the first step being the ASA Speed Truck Challenge Series New Midwest Division for 2007.

Barry told the press, with Jordan winning back to back Series Championships at Laird International Raceway, this is the time to make the move in his son's racing career to maximize the opportunities that might be available.

Todd Luckow owner of PM&M is excited to add Jordan to his stable of up and coming young lions. PM&M also represents NASCAR, ARCA, ASASTCS, and other racing teams and Sanctioning bodies. Luckow has a solid 35+ years experience driving, owning, and working on race teams, reaching the top ranks of Nextel cup as a gasman on racedays and fabricator-welder during the week.

In 1993 Luckow moved from the shop to the front office and started his professional motorsports marketing career full-time. During that time he was still working racedays as Gasman until retiring from over the wall duties in 1997.

Luckow has to his credit such achievements as bringing Sherwin Williams to the sport in 1993, created the first NASCAR Craftsman SuperTruck Poster for the new series in 1995, and has been on the cutting edge ever since working with such teams as Bobby Allison, AJ Foyt, Derrike Cope, Kevin Lapage, and Brendan Gaughan to name just a few.

Luckow in a short statement laid out the plan to carry Jordan to NASCAR; the first step will be to have Jordan compete in the 15 race ASA Speed Truck Challenge Series new Midwest Division preparing Jordan for what it takes to compete in a professional touring series, competing in the spotlight of national television showcasing in all the races.

Jordan will be challenging for the Midseason, Yearend, and National Championships of the ASASTCS for 2007, all televised on Versus Television Network with a coverage footprint of 80 million households in the USA, reaching Canada, and Mexico, along with an International Satellite Bleed.

Using this series to groom Jordan, training him to enter the NASCAR AutoZone or Busch East series for a year and then into the Arca Re/max and NASCAR Craftsman Truck series by the time he is Nineteen. Barry Sims will still field the Modified race car for his son to compete in on a limited schedule back home.

There will be a noticeable change to the local fans as Jordan will no longer be campaigning the familiar Orange and Blue #47, but sporting the new #33 which he will also carry on his ASASTCS truck. There will be more sponsor and other race team news to follow in the near future.

Jordan is excited to have this opportunity that his parents have given him and is making plans to keep his family all part of his journey utilizing Mother Debbie and Sister Brittany Sims as personal assistants to keep him on schedules and be there to hand him the right hat in victory lane.

Barry will work with PM&M in all Racing Decisions for the future of Jordan's progression of his racing career.
