Jacobs falls to 2-1 at Masters

Sault Ste. Marie's Brad Jacobs will take a 2-1 record into the final day of the round robin at the first Grand Slam of Curling event in Okotoks, Alta.

After a pair of wins on Wednesday, Team Jacobs, which includes third Ryan Fry, second E.J. Harnden and lead Ryan Harnden, dropped a 5-4 decision to Mark Nichols of Newfoundland and Labrador on Thursday afternoon.

Nichols scored a single in the eighth end to pick up the victory.

Jacobs returns to action in his final round robin game on Friday afternoon against Brendan Bottcher of Edmonton.
