Indians home to first place Sudbury at Big Bear Led by former Soo Greyhound Scott Restoule, the Sudbury Kal Tire Junior Wolves pay their second visit of the Northern Ontario Jr. Hockey League season to Big Bear Bear Arena when they play the Soo Indians in a 7 p.m. start on Friday night. Sudbury leads the NOJHL with 13 points from a 6-1-1 record. The Indians have 10 points from a 5-1 record and have two games in hand on the defending NOJHL champions. In a prior meeting this season, the Indians edged Sudbury 6-5 in overtime although Restoule was not in the lineup because of an ankle injury. Despite having played in only six of Sudbury's eight games to date, Restoule leads the NOJHL in scoring with 19 points, including seven goals. On the flip side, the Indians have the NOJHL's best goals against average at 2.83. Elliot Hogue has the NOJHL's best personal goaltending stats with a 3-0 record, 1.99 GAA and .940 save percentage. Rookie defenceman Nick Novak leads the Indians in scoring with 1-7-8 totals. Rookie forward Paul Isleib is next with 2-4-6 totals and five Indians have collected five points to date -- Sean Farley, Nick Zilka, James Ciotti, Sean Reid and Chris Cooper. Admission to Friday's game is $5. The $5 ticket price is the lowest in the NOJHL.
