Ice Breaker Cup to begin on Friday

9th Annual Ice Breaker Cup Hockey Tournament

The 9th Annual Ice Breaker Cup Hockey Tournament will be held this weekend November 4-6, 2005 in Sault Ste Marie. There will be twenty seven (27) teams participating in four (4) divisions.

The four divisions include Junior House League, Intermediate House League, Bantam and Midget rep teams. There are nine (9) teams traveling from Michigan as well as teams from Thunder Bay, North Shore, Thessalon and the Sault Female Hockey Association House Leagues.

Three of the Wildcats traveling teams will be playing with the Mara Tech / National Supply Pee Wee and AOE / Service Master Bantam teams playing in the Bantam Division and The Sault Wildcat Midgets playing in the Midget Division.

Play begins Friday at 5:00 pm at the McMeeken, Rankin and both Rhodes arenas with all semi-final and final games being played Sunday at the Rhodes.

The semi-final and final games are as follows:

Junior House League

Semi final games 8:00 am and 8:30 am at the Rhodes Final game 11:30 am at the Rhodes

Intermediate House League

Semi final games 9:00 am and 9:30 am at the Rhodes Final game 12:30 pm at the Rhodes

Bantam

Bronze Medal game at 10:30 am at the Rhodes Gold Medal game at 12:00 pm at the Rhodes

Midget

Gold Medal game at 11:00 am at the Rhodes
