Huskies sweep tripleheader with Manitoulin

The Central Algoma Secondary School Boys Basketball teams hosted Manitoulin on Thursday. The senior boys improved to 6-0 with a 70-36 victory over the Mustangs. Cass lead 40-23 at the half.

The senior boys improved to 6-0 with a 70-36 victory over the Mustangs. Cass lead 40-23 at the half. Jay Ripplinger with 21 points, Corey Myers with 18 and Ryan Hurley with 16 led the Huskies. Patrick Kaiting had 9 points for Manitoulin.

The junior boys improved to 5-1, defeating Manitoulin 57-13. Ethan Campbell with 9 points and Justin Roberts with 8 led CASS while Davis Case had 6 for the Mustangs.

The midget boys recorded their first victory of the year defeating Manitoulin 27-21. Rob Gallinger had 8 points and Solomon Henderson had 6 for the Huskies. Carson Smulders had 8 points for Manitoulin.
